Portugal.... football, wine and fado- three main
things which Portugal associated with to us Latvians who had never been to this
country before. Of course, we were not wrong but Portugal welcomed us by many
other wonderful things during our stay in the country.
We could not take our eyes off the picturesque
landscapes, exotic plants, mighty palm trees, splendid beaches bathed by the
Atlantic Ocean, we were warmed by the sunny weather, we were hosted by the
warm-hearted, friendly Portuguese people. We liked listening to fado very much.
We enjoyed tasting different Portuguese dishes that were not only delicious but
a kind of a piece of art as well.
Our pupils liked different project activities,
especially kite workshop and dancing. We loved visiting the museum of the World
of Discoveries. It was a fantastic adventure for all us. It was our pleasure to
visit Porto, to see a unique cultural heritage where tradition and modernity
blend together in a great harmony.
Dear Portuguese friends, thank you for everything you
did to make us feel like at home.
Dear Friends, I will highly evaluate and keep all the
moments we shared and spent together in my heart.

unforgettable experience and heart-warming memories during the two Comenius
project PEACE years!!!
