The last school day in Latvia for forms 1.-8
this year was on the 29th of May. 9th formers finished their studies on the
16th of May with the so called Last Bell party but they had to get ready for
their exams in English, Maths, Latvian and History, officially they graduated
the school in June.
The last school day for the pupils of Mezvidi
Primary school has always been special, not only because of the coming long
expected summer holidays, this is the day when teachers, pupils and their
parents gather for the official gala ceremony in the Town Hall. Pupils are
awarded with diplomas for their achievements in their studies, different
olympiads, sport competitions. Teachers give an account by showing different
presentations and movies of the main things, achievements and special events
that have taken place during the whole school year.
Flowers to
the teachers, farewell hugs from the classmates and the summer holidays can
begin… 3 months of rest and carelessness!!!
