Vemo-nos
em breve!
Our
project is inevitable going to the end. We have just arrived from Portugal
where we spent one week with our European partners in PEACE project who are now
our real friends. Wonderful views and sunny weather that welcomed us to Esposende
made an unforgettable impression on us. We admired the nature, sandy beaches,
palm trees and exotic plants. We enjoyed walking on picturesque streets listening to Fado and eating traditional
Portuguese dishes.
Project activities were very
interesting for us. We liked kite workshop very much. We learnt a lot about
family events in partner countries. We had a great time while participating in project trips. Now we know a
lot about Quinta da Seara - Environmental Education Center and about Castro de São Lourenço. We liked the time we spent in the World of
Discoveries very much. It was very nice and educational! We learnt about the history of Portugal
and its world leading explorers during the 15th and 16th centuries from
interactive displays. A tour guide on the boat informed us about the most
important discoveries that began from Spain and Portugal. No trip to Portugal would be complete
without taking part in a Port wine
cellars tour. It will stay in our minds forever.
We appreciate the time we spent with the people, teachers and students involved
in PEACE project. Many friends were made and we are sure that they will stand
the test of time. The distance is not a problem. We are Europeans. We are Friends.
The last Comenius meeting is finished. It is hard to say ‘Goodbye’ so we’d prefer to say ‘See you, our Friends’.
